Welcome! I study water, air and micro-organisms. And I am fascinated by their dynamics.
NEWS, UPCOMING EVENTS, SEMINARS...
-
We will visit Villefranche-sur-Mer to do lab experiments on Ostreopsis catching in sea sprays... can't wait!
-
I gave a seminar in Grenoble at the LIPHY end of June, together with Francesco Picella, about algal bio-convection. It was a fun and unusual experience to give a seminar at two!
-
I visited Seoul for the ICOP/ISOP conference, invited to take part to the "Environmental sensing, responses, and
differentiation in protists" mini symposium organised by Nuria Ros-i-Rocher and Michelle Leger. I felt as a physicist immersed in a protistology conference can feel... I learned many new things! -
I gave a presentation of my work on bio-convection and light at the Choanoflagellates and Friends conference, in Paris. It was good to present in person after the one I attended in 2020, on zoom!
-
I was in Marrakech for the Living Fluids conference! What a fantastic place :)
-
I got funding by the CNRS for the project on micro-algae trapping in aerosols!

I attended the Condensed Matter Days of the French Physical Society in Marseille end of October! Looking forward to this exciting gathering!!
-
Thanks to Romain Brette and Toshiyuki Nakagaki for the organisation and invitation to their workshop Behavior and physiology of protists - experiments and models. We heard fascinating talks and great discussions, a good way to kick the year off!
-
Fluid & Elasticity in Arcachon! It was a wonderful gathering, thanks to the organisers for this opportunity to present for the first time results about bubble bursting and transport of Chlamydomonas in aerosols!!
-
We organised the Chlamyting! First meeting of the French community working on Chlamydomonas, with all backgrounds. Thanks to all participants and especially to speakers who came from all parts of France to make this meeting a success. What do you want to do with it now? Should we go for a GDR? If you are interested, please do get in touch :)
